Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Robotics Engineer to join our engineering team. The Robotics Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing robotic systems and applications that improve efficiency and automation within our operations. This role requires a strong background in robotics, mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as experience with programming and system integration.

Responsibilities:

  • System Design: Design and develop robotic systems that meet the company’s operational needs, including automation of tasks and processes.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Create prototypes and conduct rigorous testing to ensure the functionality, safety, and reliability of robotic systems.
  • Programming: Develop software and algorithms for robot control, including motion planning, navigation, and perception, using languages like Python, C++, or ROS.
  • Integration: Integrate robotic systems with existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and communication between components.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues in robotic systems, making necessary adjustments to improve performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics technology, applying new methods and techniques to enhance our systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, processes, and system configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and project continuity.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all robotic systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards, conducting risk assessments as necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing system performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness through ongoing analysis and refinement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Robotics Engineer or in a similar engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of robotic systems, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or ROS (Robot Operating System).
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and simulation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience with AI, machine learning, or computer vision in robotics is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in robotics is a plus.
