Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Network Architect to design and manage the implementation of complex network solutions for our company. The Network Architect will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of the company’s IT infrastructure. This role requires extensive knowledge of network protocols, systems integration, and hands-on experience with various networking technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, the ability to design efficient network solutions, and the capability to oversee the execution of these plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust and scalable network architectures that meet the business’s current and future requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to assess networking needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Oversee the deployment, management, and optimization of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless systems.
  • Ensure network security by designing and implementing firewall, intrusion detection/prevention, and encryption solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex networking issues and optimize network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in networking technologies and suggest improvements.
  • Lead and mentor the network engineering team, offering guidance and technical expertise.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including architecture diagrams and configurations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop disaster recovery plans for network continuity.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and ensure timely support and equipment procurement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Network Architect, with strong knowledge of networking protocols
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of security technologies, such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Certifications like CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Experience with network monitoring and automation tools is a plus.
