Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to oversee and manage the company’s accounting and financial operations. The Financial Controller will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as implementing and maintaining financial controls. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial regulations, and the ability to manage multiple accounting functions while supporting strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Develop and monitor financial budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and provide analysis on financial performance.
  • Lead the preparation for audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee tax filings.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and cost-saving opportunities within the finance function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial regulations.
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
