Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our engineering team. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Construction Oversight: Oversee the construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet design specifications and safety standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates and resource allocation.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures to ensure high standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and address any issues or challenges that arise during the project.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, plans, and permits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Civil Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred.
