Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Analyst to join our finance team. The Tax Analyst will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing tax planning and advisory services. Responsibilities:

  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for the company and its subsidiaries.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws, including timely filing of tax returns and payments.
  • Tax Planning: Provide tax planning and advisory services to optimize the company’s tax position and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Research: Conduct research on tax issues and stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Audits: Assist with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of tax filings, correspondence, and other related records.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on tax positions, liabilities, and strategies for management.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance tax compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Tax Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with tax preparation software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • CPA or other relevant certification is a plus.
